Pulling a Load without tanker endorcement..

Also, I havent figured a way to print or save to thumb drive (with the elogs), so if anything doesntfeel right, you could always take a picture of each message sent and received with a camera

 

I've pulled tons of those loads without a tanker endorsement. The only people DOT mess with are the flat beds who pull those loads. Goodness gracious. There is no surge. Slow down on curves and you will be alright. Why is everybody so scared of everything.

 

I got the tanker endorsement myself.. just in case it's really required.. also doubles and triples, just in case

 

I dont think that scared ever came up, but if you want to do this job for the long haul, you need to cover your own butt. If you get in trouble it can effect your ability to get a job in the future. I got a tanker endorsement, and doubles and triples. they where easy to get and I dont have to worry if I have the proper endorsements to pull a load. I did not get the hasmat endorsement because it is somewhat expensive if you dont need it, and it is a hassle to maintain. As far as pulling a load that you are not sure if you have the proper endorsements to pull, find out. If you do not have the proper endorsements and you still pull it, well, do you think that the company will have your back if you get pulled in to a scale and put out of service for driving without the appropriate license? Just remember, In the long run no one will fault you for doing the right thing

 

Your Safety Department may not be aware of changes . You might try telling them you are trying to look out for their interests as well as your own and print this out or copy and e-mail to them .
