I'm thinking about getting rid of my 06 50 ft cargomate eliminator if you're interested. 21 ft living quarters and 29 ft garage with 11' dovetail for low profile loading if you're interested.
Pulling a recreational trailer with my Truck?

as long as you have your DOT/MC numbers, you are still subjected to DOT cops, scales, etc.
just get a dually, and THEN put a "not for hire" label on it. -
Just hook the trailer up run on PC and call it a day.
Odds are no one is going to give you a hard time while your obviously on vacation and you got the family with you.
I meen what are they going to do? Arest you and put you in jail for 20 years?
Jezzz some of you guys are scared of your own shadow.
I try and do the right thing and follow the laws as best I know how but for crying out loud, go on vacation and don’t stress over it. -

Dot is smart enough to know the difference between personal and commercial for the most part. You're not making money while doing it and it's for personal recreation. At most you might get stopped and questioned.
I pulled my 37ft Toyhauler with my truck and DOT blew right by me without a glance. -
Gumper, 1 thing you'll have to do is install a brake controller and figure out how to get the tail lights and turn signals on the trailer to work right.
Gumper Thanks this. -
Exactly what I would do. -
