IRP usually will fax a temp, for windshield. Ifta, a copy of License should be in the Truck, at least, till you get the stickers.

As for running loads with a dealer temp tag, I asked a IL State Policeman, who in turn called his " DOT buddy" and they said run it dont worry about it with everything going on. I've been running the last 3 wks with dealer tags and have been pulled onto several scales and not a word has been saidEdjahman and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Take careRideandrepair Thanks this. -
What about proof you’ve applied? Maybe a copy of applications or ? just in case, shows good will. Has to be a Legal way, since so many Trucks get swapped daily.

A couple years ago the company I was working for bought 2 brand new sister trucks and we ran them on temp tags for I swear 3 months. lol. Cops are being defunded...(sarcasm)...run it!

Question … is the temp tag issued by the dealer for ALL fees paid ? If so, you have paid the fees and can run. Just like a car, you buy it and pay the fees but have to wait for the plate in the mail.
Edjahman and Rideandrepair Thank this.
