There have been threads on here regarding what which companies have governed speed trucks and what speeds are they set at.

More of interest to me would be which companies, regardless of spped settings, have trucks that don't flinch at the site of a hill? Who's trucks can pull a incline in a decent manner.

Years ago, Barr Nunn's trucks were not governed, but you could never pull a hill with any sort of load without putting the flashers on. Later, pulled covered wagons with a Pete 379, speed set at 62, that would walk up a hill without any real work at all.

    Just curious.

That's way too broad of a question. Most companies have a mixed fleet/engines/trannys/rear ends/driver know how/lite, heavy loads etc. all come into play.
