    Happy New Year All!
I am looking seriously at a w900 after deciding to hold off on rebuilding my 98 9200 Intl with 12.7 Detroit (recent post). Just looking for advice on a canadian 2001 W900 for sale. I got to the point where they are asking for down payment before cleaning the truck and detailed frame pics. Two recent inframes within a couple thousand hours, I guess problems with oil pump and they warranted replacing the head. Nice looking truck with 6nz but have not submitted to me any paperwork. Seems like they are wanting me to move without showing me the specifics of the truck.
    2001 Kenworth W900 VIN: 1XKWDB9X71R963117. $53,000 to my door.

Starting to think that as well. I am a trusting person so often lack in gathering needed info.
Truck reads 540.xxx km or 342,000 mi. It does show needed mph for USA operation. I asked about ecm reading
but have not received. I am sure it has a million plus but come on give me more.

I sent a list of what I needed in order for me to move forward, we will see if they come through.
I pull flatbed (legal weight), what do you think about the specs on this truck. Wondering most about wb and suspension?

No way it is at 340 thousand miles. My 1999 has close to 2.6 million on it ... but all you're after mileage / hrs post inframe

That's all about right. Short wheel base Canadian truck. Does it have a 9, 10, 13, or 18 speed in it?

I seriously need to think about selling mine ... these used truck prices are insane.

Wb & standard 8 bag suspension for KW. They leave out the total mileage for the truck. You need information on the transmission & rears. That mileage what does it reference? 340k on a 2001. You definitely need more information. If it doesn't add up no can do. Just some FYI everything on that truck is 21 years old. I would look it over real good before I would consider on buying it.

Oh ... and I would never purchase a truck sight unseen. Even brand new.

    You're right
Yea I wonder if it would ride any good, heavy rears 46,000 and 18 sp. If you sell your truck then you have to purchase an insane priced one!

    JoeyJunk and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I guess purchasing a truck 2,000 miles away may not be a good idea.
