Okay. Question for you Mark. I saw a TND-760 in the electronics case at the TA East in Ontario. Does that mean anyone could buy one and use it as a PND? I was sort of the under the impression that they had to be hard-wired into the truck to qualify and to be honest, I didn't ask the clerk to pull it out so I could look at it. First time I've seen one and I haven't seen one since then.

There are some things that I wish were a bit better on this GPS, sometime, maybe we can chat about it.

so, lots of questions, so Mark hope your around. first, my company is currently using paper logs that i'm required to send in, so is there a way i can print these out to send in? second how difficult is it to "edit" a time, say forgot to stop the clock when stopped at a rest area. we'll start there, cause those are the two biggies. hope to hear from ya soon, as i may just have to send the Cobra back.

    thanks,

    Teq.

Just curious- are you using the 720 or the 760? One thing, if the logs you are using are your company's offical log- best stay with they want you to use. I know that before we went to EOBR units, a few of us could use computer generated logs but it wasn't generally accepted. Check with your outfit.

Best way to get a hold of Mark with questions like this is to post directly on his thread.

Humm,,, missed this one. The "new" posting is not a really dark bold typeface on my computer screen since the new upgrade.

The TND-760 is an EOBR that plugs into the Deuche plug.

It does run the TND Software for routing. As such since it plugs into the Deuche Plug and is a EOBR you might run into some issues if you are running paper logs also.

    Thanks,
    Mark

The TND-720 is not an EOBR and the timers do not run for 7+1 days. Editing time is a matter of simply clicking on that timer.

The timers on the 720 are more for personal type use and not for Legal Logs since it is not an EOBR.

The TND-760 is a true EOBR.

    Thanks,
    Mark

More of a general question. I am not planning on one.... but I was asked and I have zero experience with it. Sort of surprised that TA is stocking it though.

Good question. I've been hoping the day will come when I can download Kate Beckinsale's voice for mine. :biggrin_255:
