Purchasing a semi tractor

It is a new chassis with a pre emission motor in it.

 

Not to sound like a dick, but how can a man who doesn't have some of this basic knowledge be buying a couple trucks? Love the fact he's asking questions, but wow.

 

see which dealer's mechanics seem the least dumb. Something will eventually go wrong and you'll need your local dealer. If the dealerhship can't fix the truck, you can't drive the truck.

 

Go to truckpaper.com and search cascadia glider. It will come with a problem free pre-egr 12.7 Detroit. Its the only new truck I'd even consider buying

 

lol i have a 2004 columbia condo 12.7 13spd no fairing on truck and trailer averaging 8.5mpg. pre emissions are more efficient

 

Yep I drive a 386 Pete glider with the 12.7 13speed and average 8mpg.
