pusher axle and apu wb length needed

    anyone has a pusher axle and apu on their frame curious to know what length of wb is needed to do this

    Depends what size wheels you put on the pusher and sleeper size. About 275 should do it unless you're getting a big ### sleeper.

    Set back or forward front axle, fuel tanks under the doors or under the sleeper, lenght of spread needed fron the lift to the rear drive axle.

    My truck is 312" wheel base and there might be room for an apu on the frame between the lift and fuel tank but never measured and Im not interested in giving up 500 pounds of payload for that noisemaker.

    thans for the info im.not a 100 percent sure but i was told u get a 500lb allowance for having and apu meaning u can possibly gain a 100-200 pound lee way depending on the weight of the apu

    Im pretty sure that is for standard weight, 80,000 gross, loads not overweight loads.
