Drivers with your thinking are the reason we have Elogs now. We know those trucks well as they pass us in 45 mph construction zones at 70 mph & swearing on the CB radio that we're causing them to go bankrupt and not being able to make their next truck payment if they obey the traffic laws. This has been going on for decades, so now the feds stepped in and forced Elogs.

 

Hmmm my experience is actually totally different. A month or so ago I had mega driver using horn on me because I was doing exactly 45 mph speed limit like I always do.The truck I was driving then we as open and could go well over 80 mph.

 

Yep, rookie mega drivers are also the reason we're on Elogs now.

 

If the speed limit in a construction zone is 45, then do 45, not 65. It's really not that complicated to most of us.

 

Yes...SPEED LIMIT...as in the black and white sign with numbers on it...or the Orange Construction zone sign...and, oddly enough, those also have numbers on it.

You'd better pray that welfare is still alive and well at retirement time for you.
Even if your saving at the social security rate and investing it I guarantee your company owners are not contributing to anything but their own wallets.
And BTW...getting there first ain't gonna win this race.

 

I wonder how his tax records look. I know one 1099 guy that became disabled and can't get social security because he's never paid into it. He's living with his mother and sits in a wheelchair. I don't know if the state is helping in any way or not.
