    I figured if you cant walk on top of it (frozen lake) then its warm enough. Forgot to mention that Im a member of the polar bear club.

    Yep! The natives don't go in the water until about the end of May or so when the water temp gets to about 75 degrees. By July the water is up to about 86 degrees and is awesome!
