I know that feeling well. Back in the '90's I bought a cruiser. Shadow 1100. That thing looked so cool, I walked into the dealership to get something or other and it just called out to me, "HEY FATBOY, GET YOUR ARSE OVER HERE AND TRY ME OUT." So I did. That thing was fine for about 20 minutes to a half hour. Anything more than that, and the back pain set in.

Since I was into touring back then, I traded it on a Gold Wing.

Hey that sounds like a fun trip over to Sturgis. Be sure to take your rubbers though. (In case of rain you know.)

 

I ain't scared of rain.... The pic below is from a storm that dropped tornado's in Sturgis in 08.

Everyone made fun of me because I used 2 foot long stakes to secure my tent when I went to Sturgis.... This storm blew in & I took shelter to keep dry.... It was a scary sounding outside.... I was hoping my tent wouldn't go no where.

After the storm, I went outside to check for damages. Out of myself & the 6 neighbors I had.... My tent is the only one that held up & didn't go no where. Everyone else's tents collasped or got blown halfway across the campground.

 

Is that your ex crushed under the front tires there?

 

Okay, after having Lighthouse and Scarecrow say nice things about my photo I've decided to post it. No one on this forum will ever believe it but I'm actually very shy and extremely shy about my weight.

This is myself and two of my daughters last Christmas. I've lost some weight since then.
