So I got my CDL in March, and went to work for Comcar driving flat bed. I attended orientation and did two weeks with a trainer and was told after the the two weeks that this company is not a good fit for me, so was given my last paycheck and was let go. So are there any companies that will hire me?

Lots of companies will hire you, but then again, in two weeks it is possible that they too will not be a good fit.
You need to figure out why you were let go and improve on it.

Why did they say that you weren't a good fit?

they had a reason or 2, 3 or 4 to let you go.

were you able to get your rest/sleep?

did you follow any and all instructions and asked questions if you did not understand?

were you constanlty checking for messages from home, and not concentrating on the job?

did you cop an attitude with the trainer?

too many things for us to assume, unless you tell mus the reason(s) why you were let go, cuz if you repeat anythng at any other carrier, you will most likely be let go again and again...

I don't know for sure; my guess is W-2 because it's a huge company.

from what i can recall, panther has o/o's, and they can (or used to) hire drivers and place them on 1099's. but those hires have to fill out a panther application and be approved by panther.
