put strap outside of the deck is ok?

    Western will build a curtain van with load bearing sides. The sides roll up instead of front/back and there are straps that you run through winches to hold the bottom. Anything less than that isn’t load bearing and probably shouldn’t be treated as such.

    I agree but the FMCSA has no problem with it. It's a double standard that proves safety is not truly their goal.

    With bungee rope, the way all trailers should be setup.

    I use 3/8” shock cord or bungee rope. I e tried the regular rubber rope before and didn’t like it. It was way to “grippy” and wanted to grab the d rings as it was pulled tight. It starts out white. D28A86D3-9ABA-4D33-8433-212E943E6EE3.jpeg
