    Fact or fiction? Their website says guaranteed 20,000 miles per month? Is this solo or team? I figure with all the regulations you could probably only drive around 3000 per week max. So that is like 12,000 miles per month driving solo. It must be team. Because if it is solo, that is dang good money at 20k miles per month!

    Do they hire in Georgia by chance?

    That is team. It's in the "Team" section of their website. If you play your cards right (and if dispatch and planning cooperate), you can do well over 12k/mo as a solo LEGALLY.

    Hay all;

    I am "thinking" of getting with Pride, and wonder if they have a "no weapons" policy.

    I realize some of you might not be comfortable with this kind of issue, but I firmly believe in self defense (this issue has been raised on other boards by different "folks"). I also realize that it's a rarity to find a carrier that DOESN'T have a no weapons policy. I posted this question on another thread, but I think this is the better one, so I apologize if I seem persistent with this question.

    Incase anyone wonders, I am licensed as a CCW holder, but of course, it depends on the company saying yes or no to carrying anything for self defense.

    Just wondering for now.

    Thanks, and take care!

    You've asked this question about other carriers too. Don't you think it would be easier to just call the carrier and ask them point blank? I'm guessing most folks on this forum are not experts on a particular company's policies.

    Heck, Just carry a cap and ball pistol or some kind of black powder pistol. Those are not considered firearms per the BATFE.Unless something changed in the law.
