My business name is my name. I'm leased to XYZ Carriers.
It's my first truck. It's white.
Do I just put black letters:
DBA: My Name
Leased to: XYZ Carriers
City, State
DOT # 1234567
And, is there a rhyme or reason to assigning my truck a number? Is 001 ok?
Finally, if I put flame decals on the hood, will it make it faster? Do those pointy lug nut covers reduce the truck's drag?
Thanks
Putting signage on my first truck

Well the truck number dont mater, seen plenty of 666, 777, flight 747 ect... the rest?.. look at any truck, you will see the correct order. Lots of guys put the name big n bold on the door, then the leased to in smaller script on the tool box door....
Driver0000 Thanks this. -
I hope you're leasing onto an "Express" carrier, they are a lot faster than regular carriers...
Bean Jr., Driver0000 and street beater Thank this. -
The carrier you're leased to will generally assign you a truck number. They'll usually supply their lettering with all of the pertinent info. If you have your name on the truck too, you need to make sure it is obvious who owns the authority..."operated by" or "leased to" right above the carrier's name & USDOT will usually suffice.
Bean Jr. and Driver0000 Thank this. -
