I have discovered in my short career that the level of rudeness at a shipped or receiver is directly proportional to the level of rudeness displayed by the drivers before you. I try my best to be as friendly as possible, especially to the angry ones.
Putting up with shippers / receivers ?

going to agree wit this guy. i never have this issue, ever. only place i have ever been that pushed my boundaries with horrible rude attitudes was sam adams in PA. to the point where i would never buy their product.
a lot of drivers dont realize it but we can be kind of whiny and picky and annoying too and im sure it bugs them, i know newsflash right?? haha. sorrys i see drivers on these guy like waaaah waaaaah can you unload me now?? are you done yet? every 5 minutes. thats probably the other reason some are like that. it drives me nuts just listening to it.
another example is in the shop, allll the drivers always standing around whining that the mechanics take forever and my truck never gets fixed and comes out worse than it went in blah blah blah. funny because i pull it in, say here you go heres whats wrong take your time, leave until they finish and everything always get handled haha. same principle.celticwolf and Everett Thank this. -
