That's makes no sense. Can you see better in a dirty mirror, or clean? Same logic.OrangeBox and Bonita Nut Thank this.

If you're still working, there is no DAC report. Entry is made when quit/terminated.Siinman and Bonita Nut Thank this.

No longer working there
No entry has been made to DAC report or Hire Right as of now. -
I would think without actually clear proof they could not put anything on DAC. That’s why I said there are so many reasons a phone can light up. It a crappy thing they fired driver over it or give option of put camera in but driver said no and decided job was no worth it.
My company says we can touch screen one phone with finger like to skip a song I guess. We can’t touch the screen multiple time in a row. You could open an app then wait and touch screen 1 time then wait again. My company truck has satellite radio built in so the steering wheel button can change channels and stuff. Satellite radio seems so bad today compared to YouTube Music or other paid services on cell phoneBonita Nut Thanks this. -
The company policy is to follow FMCSA's policy of using a mobile device to make a call or dialing by pressing more than a single button.
The company also allows drivers to touch cell phones once (i.e., single button).
Thank you for your feedback and thoughts. -
You know, I overlooked in your initial post that they offered to keep you around with conditions. You turning them down was a mistake in opinion. Especially since it appears your caught red-handed with the phone in your hand.
-
Pretty simple, if your phone was in a mount the reflection would always be in the same location on your windshield. You should’ve accepted the inward camera and used that time to look for a new job. It’s always better to quit on your terms than have a termination for violation of company policy on your record.
Siinman and TruckDriver87 Thank this. -
I will NOT work for any company with a driver-facing camera.
Repeat: I will NOT work for any company with a driver-facing camera.
I completely respect and admire those who can and do.
I completely respect and understand that you think turning them down was a mistake.
I will NOT work for any company with a driver-facing camera (especially when it is not a company-wide policy or mandated for all drivers).
Thank you for your honest feedback. -
Thank you for your feedback.
Company gave me the option to voluntarily resign.
I declined that offer as well.
