Does anyone knows if these records are being provided along with references from company to company ?, I know that the safety depts. keep count and add points, higher score being the worst, this score also will prevent the driver from trying to get a local or dedicated driving positions and leasing a truck is out of the question if you have more than 25 points or so, I really don't want to get a few DOT's inspections to get 4 points out of this record every time and don't want to wait every three months to shave 3. I'll be looking for a different carrier to drive for soon. I wanted to get 2 years experience but I hope 1 1/2 is good enough, no tickets and no major preventable accidents. I'm just getting fed up with these silly internal violations that were never discussed and follow any protocol but theirs, I really believe that watching out for City, State, Marshall, Sheriff Cops along with DOT inspectors should be good enough, and now we also have to be not human and try to avoid killing a dog for example or not to pass an amber to red light and break hard is also a company violation, going 21 instead of 20 on a curve is there too, what ?, give me a break!, just because the computer says it's dangerous, let me tell you something, there is some things that machines can't match and that's is human touch, when you know how to touch that truck you know how far you can go with it, (sick huh? kidding ) at least that is how I feel, but I'm very concerned about this company trying to give bad references, does anyone experienced anything similar ?

Are you afraid they will find out who you are and retaliate?

One year is enough time. Our internals are looked at too as we had a rash on incidents and the insurance company is mandating. Things are frowned on but nothing harassing unless you are an idiot.

man it sound like u work for that crazy company that my friend used to work for. Schneider or his DM used to make him do things that I felt were stupid. he would go 2 months and he would get a message requiring him to send a list of trailers he used for the month, they would give him the wrong fuel stops or didn't give him enough fuel, etc. I told him to quit many times he wouldn't listen. he stayed hoping it got better. he has almost 10 years experience and his DM would talk to him like he was stupid. they suspended him and in suspension they discharged him because of company policy they say. he was parked on yard he was on off duty. he went home to wash, etc. he came back to make his bed and put clean clothes in truck. he saw he had message. he went in to dispatch and they went smooth off on him because they told him he was lying on his logs. since he came into dispatch he was on duty. now he cant find another carrier because of the discharge/termination. sound like u work for a bogus company. u say u got 1 1/2 years go some where else. you can find a job easy there are plenty of companies that will take u now. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WHERE U ARE QUIT AND GO SOME WHERE ELSE!!!!! it easier to find a job while u got a job than when u don't. pick up phone and start calling companies.

I call BS on everything that was said here except the trailer situation, which is completely his fault..After every load you pull you have to put in your load information in your logbook...paper or electronic
