I imagine it's a wiring issue, but maybe someone here can help.
The radio in the truck only comes out of the driver side speaker. That's 1 issue, but the bigger issue is that whenever "Jill" interrupts to give me directions or tell me I'm overspeeding, suddenly the radio only plays out of the passenger side speaker. Then the next time she comes on, the radio switches back to the driver side. It's annoying as hell.
Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
Qualcomm vs the radio (Jill keeps winning)

Yea by not having a jill or anything like that in a different tractor.
That might require you to change jobs to obtain a older tractor without this jill. Technology is not bad if it does not bother you. But there is no point beating yourself with a club if you are just getting madder. -
Go to the main screen on the QC and tap the arrow on the right side to get to the secondary screen and tap on Speakers. Reset speakers to DUI, tap Apply lower right and follow screen prompts to restart . Use the buttons on the lower right edge of the QC to adjust volume. That should fix both problems.

The QC will keep stealing the speaker when it wakes up the next day. Buggy software.

While in navigation, tap the upcoming action to take so it talks. Once it's done talking the qc will let go of the drivers speaker until the upcoming action gets close.

Haven't found a fix.
Anytime I had a QC wired through a stereo speaker I had the same problem.
Sometimes the speaker wouldn't come back on when listening to the radio.
I would just keep hitting the home button until the speaker worked normal again.t_v Thanks this. -
How do you get rid of the Q.C. all together. I am third owner on a Volvo 780 and I don't want it or need it.

So where do the wires go? Are they plugged in under the dash or do I need to chase them down into the engine compartment?
