Yes definitely interested in getting some bungee rope. I just don’t think the standard bungee with the amount we use needs to be reinvented. I think 1 year ago I had maybe 6 bungees to my name. Now I am pretty sure I have about 300 lolol. I am bundling them up in smaller bundles now and they are more user friendly.

I just started using it this year. I havent tried it down the sides of the tarps yet. But it is very good for the front and back of the tarps, it puls the sides together and takes out the slack. Plus u can pull it as tight as you want. Bungees you can only get it so tight

That is for sure to place to start using bungee rope. I rarely have square loads that I can use my flap with but when I do I start out trying to use bungees. They are always too loose or not long enough.

That’s all you see on the loads coming in from Mexico or any of the border towns. No bungees whatsoever.

Standard 3/8 rope used right with a self tightening knot (with a 21"tarp strap) down each side will control flapping tarps and then use tarp straps to close the ends. As you go down the road the rope will tighten. You may need to redo the knot and loop for the tarp strap but all the slack in the tarp will be gone.
