Before getting hired on with Quality Carriers, you may want to check the company that you are being hired on by first. When I got hired on, I thought I was being hired by Quality Carriers and later on I found out that I was not hired by QC but a affiliate. I had gone through training in North Carolina, and that company there had all new Volvo's. I cannot say that for the company that I was hired on by. Each company is different. So again, ask questions before you accept the job.

You are correct, my quotes are for Quality Carriers company not an affiliate company. Our trucks are not new and alot are different, I have a 2004 Mack, 13 speed, top speed 82. Some others are 10 speed and speed 75, others are 67 speed. i have heard that as they replace older trucks new ones will be set at 67.

Be sure you ask, I thought I was being hired as a company driver, NOT SO.
Each franchise is very different on everything.
Make sure they will pay you for your time, I had about 30% unpaid time. You can't make a living working 70%. -
are there any autoshifts that you know about?
