If you can make it work, those couples that team have it made.
I tried to sell my parents on doing it. But my mom is too afraid. My dad could do it no problem. They confided in me their retirement worries and that's when I suggested it.
I hear couples that team LTL stuff for companies like Old Dominion make up to 250k combined, or around that amount.
When both of my parents are working they MIGHT make 150k otherwise with normal employment. Add an extra 100k on to that and save it all. Retire comfortably in 10 years.
