oh please ... these are very common engines.

The first is a four-cylinder made from 1971 to 1977 from a Chevy Vega. they could run forever or 56,389 miles - whichever came first.

The second is a unique engine, a Chevy Turbo-Air 6, powerhouse made from 1960 to 1969, and actually was used for racing, almost as popular as the early Mustang and was replaced by the Camaro/Firebird. It went into a Corvair. I love my little Corvair, it is very fast ... really is.

The third was made from 1960 to 1965, but you could order one as late as 1969 as a "crate" motor. It is a GMC 702 v12, it is made by putting two GMC v6s together. I have two of them, and they are monsters.

Got a 350 block with under 100k on it. So much taper on the cylinders it'd need to be punched out at least 0.030" to get the cylinders round again.

Many are built in the US and they are excellent vehicles and an awesome customer. My household is very great full for Toyota. I do love my GMC and my Series 60 which GM is originally responsible for. IMG_1418.jpeg IMG_1416.png

I've just bought a brand new Korean hybrid car with a lifetime warranty for 28K made in South Korea. 50 mpg +, not a bad deal.

Drove the literal piss out of the 4L60E in my Chev for over 200k with no problems. Even had it chipped and torque management turned way down.

Even the notorious 46RE never required a rebuild, just solenoids.

Face it Made in America was a pipe dream. Japans quality on cars specially Toyota is far more superior.

German cars are good for the first 3 years, after that if you can’t afford the heavy maintenance schedule don’t bother it gets expensive fast.

I drive a 2009 Toyota. It was assembled in Indiana. But, from what I’ve read, the Koreans have surpassed Toyota in overall quality in recent years.
