Question about 6 mths before Riders are allowed to ride along

    Hi, I am not a Trucker but my DH is. He is driving for Schneider National Bulk Division. He started working for them in Jan and he has been out on his own solo since Mar 8th. So he is wondering if anyone knew does the 6 month waiting period start when you are hired by the company or when you actually are out on your own.

    Right from their web site:

    It appears that you have to be solo for 6 months before a rider is allowed unless he was hired as an experienced driver. Why not just ask his DM? I'm sure they would be happy to answer the question.
