Question about cool fenders you see at Iowa80

I think they are uglier than a bag of butt holes.
They also lack the purpose of a half fender that you can use as a step. Step on those new round fenders truck driver fall and get his fat butt wedged in between them. Fire dept to the rescue. Live news coverage at 6!

 

Many pavement pounders actually seem to try and make their tare weight as heavy as possible. Surprised some don't just build an entire house, complete with deck space, hot tub, and fire pit on their truck. Then plate everything in inch thick chrome. They only drive a tandem axle truck to start with, then add every possible heavy in weight option they can. So nothing surprises me as to what they add on to their trucks anymore. Payload left on some trucks i see must be a joke at best, because it is a rolling 5 star hotel, not a truck.

 

I wonder this myself sometimes. I can scale 50 and a little bit of change if I get down below 1/2 tank and every once in awhile I see a load weighing 51 and I start thinking "what can I take off" so I can scale it next time. LOL

 

Anything over 48k should be demanding of a much higher rate. I'd charge heavily if I could scale that much.

 

You didn't here me say that I did it for free.

 

Most #### I haul I like 58k or a little better in the trailer, some stuff like sunflowers it's not possible but they have to pay more.

 

Fenders are nice if you pull a RGN, because there is nothing over your tires otherwise. You have to be awfully careful you don’t tear them up though.

 

That's a lot of effing sunflowers.

 

Flowers I think 48k was the most I've ever got on, and that takes a lot of getting in the trailer and stomping them down.

 

You just need a bigger trailer.
