If you go around and take I-287 south into NJ....
After you cross Rt I-80 and the over NJ Rt. 10 [Whippany]...
Route 24 brings you I-78 quicker than staying on I-287 to I-78
Avoid coming down Rt 17 to Rt I-80 to the turnpike...
Remember; you always need to pay to get out of NJ....I-295 north @ Scudders Falls is the only free bridge to PA on an interstate..... -

Hey Dtj12231989 what tme did you finally finally get loaded, and route did you wind up taken. Bet you never suspected this thread would be this long. Just from asking a simple easy to answer question?
dtj12231989 Thanks this. -
Take 287 west, go over the Tappan Z, if you can't handle the Cross Bronx, but one thing you don't have to worry about is weight, unless you do something stupid. TZ will cost you GW is free and if you go through in the early am(between 12-4) it's EZ-PZ. NJTP will cost you, but no where near as much as the TZ. Stay out of the left 2 lanes, they're cracking down(185$ ticket).

I got loaded around ten thirty that evening and had to use PC to get to the nearest truck stop cause they wasted my hours. I got to NYC around 930 the next morning and although the traffic was horrible, I had no problem cause I did my best to make sure that I was in the right lane at the right time and it worked like a charm.x1Heavy, kemosabi49 and motocross25 Thank this.
