What's up guys.
Here's what happened. Traveling from Corvallis, OR area down south to Tracy, CA. Stopped for lunch at pilot at exit 148 on I5 in Rice Hill. Quick check of everything before rolling out after lunch. Everything looks good. Get pulled in to weigh station at exit 112. Told to bring in papers. Level 2 inspection done because of flat tire, axle 5 outside tire. I picked up a piece of chain. So he wrote me a violation for the flat tire which is an oos until fixed. No other violations. No citation.
Any point in trying to fight this? I really don't want the CSA points.
Thank you for your help.
Question about CSA violation.

There's always a "point " to fighting any violation, but I dunno, you DID role into a weigh station with a flat tire. Not even an inside tire, an outside tire!
Stuff happens, I get that, but this one could be tough to beat. But what do I know? I'm just a DumDriver.

Can't fight a warning only a ticket. I'd just go on about your day

Then I'd give it to a lawyer and see what happens? Will cost some money but it's worth a chance I suppose

Bean Jr. Thanks this.

How would you fight the oos and have it removed from your csa score, on what basis?
You had a flat tire, he saw it, you saw it when he pointed it out to you and put you out of service.
It's happened to me and thousands of other drivers. Not that big of a deal. Roll on.Last edited: Jan 14, 2017
