I have seen a few of those around those are the spring trailors right that move around when you speed up the coil part moves around foward and backwards? -
I have no idea. It doesn't sound like a very good idea, leave surge to the tankers.

Don’t know about the moving back and forth.
have seen quite a few of these types. If memory serves me, they can hold 2 coils. The coil sits in a well, in the well are weight triggered clamps, as the coils go in or out, the clamp opens and closes. Seem to remember that it does have a release mechanism to unload it. top cover is fiberglass, it slides on a track. Remember seeing them at a processing place in Ohio and another in Oklahoma, both only bringing in raw stock. We loaded slit coils from the place.
