Question about Illinois CDL

That temp secure paper license your were issued is valid for ninety days. They normally mail your new license within fifteen business days to your address on file. They also notify you via mail prior to the expiration of your medical cert.

Since you never submitted a new medical certificate, they most likely suspended your CDL, and being this close to expiring, you most likely will have to start from scratch.

Just a heads up, you're going to have to take the test for your Class D(regular) license along with the tests for your cdl when you go in to renew.
