My dad is looking at getting his own authority back and having me run a truck for him while he stays at his company job. I'm going to be calling around tomorrow to get some quotes but I'd like to see what you guys have to say. Only thing that's hurting me is im not 23 until september. I would be under my dads policy. I have clean mvr/csa and my dad has 2 million plus accident free miles. It's been 8-9 years since my dad had his last truck but he was paying around 5000 for ins. He's thinking i"ll cost him about 8-10k, Does that sound about right for northeast regional with an early-mid 2000s rig?

My dads a good mechanic and we found a ton of trucks in the 20k price range that with only a few grand put into it you can have a reliable money making truck. My dads looking at his company job to pay the bills and anything this truck brings in is an added bonus

    Pepper your angus.

I don't know the exact numbers but it will be high.

Go on progressive website and get a quote it will take maybe 15 min. Then do one for your dad and compare the difference
