Granted I have not been in this forever, but in my 10 years I have never seen this whole investor thing working out and I have seen quite a few attempts.
Usually it starts out fine, after couple of months problems from drivers and equipment start piling up. Insurance problems, Fmcsa audit problems, IRP and IFTA headaches, all kinds of things come up.
Partners get tired and get extremely stressed. The investor asks where is my profit, the one who runs the business says there is no profit, I have no life and just drowning over here. Then they get in fight, close up the shop and sell equipment for pennies, just to get rid of it.Deere hunter, Short Fuse EOD, kemosabi49 and 4 others Thank this. -

No hate here, my friend. I'm just giving you the straight story. Don't worry, some people less nice than me will be along shortly.
And what makes you think i didn't make it? I have made it. I work when I want to but I've had to make concessions to do so, and you will too.
I'm working now, just not driving at the moment.
But seriously man, bragging about throwing away money is not going to do you any favors with anyone in any business at any time. Never has, never will.
It shows a serious lack of life experience.
That said, I'm done talking to you.Deere hunter, Sirscrapntruckalot, AModelCat and 5 others Thank this. -
In my experience, the people who actually have money, don’t have to be constantly trying to convince others they do. And I personally know some filthy rich people who live outa Aldi and drive junky vehicles. I worked in sales for my dad for 10 years, and the people who showed up in designer clothes driving brand new vehicles were the ones who almost always asked for financing.
