I could of sworn that I read in the FMCSA handbook, that you could be 2 days behind on your log entries as long as you have 6 days previous logs with you. I don't have my handbook available right now so I can't check, but I'm pretty sure that's what I read.

I got a log book ticket for a log book not current... I had started my trip at 10:00pm 1/10/17 and pulled in scale at 7 am 1/11/17 i hadnt finished my trip yet that is why i had not updated my log book......im confused and pissed off now....was i supposed to pull over at midnight and update my log book??? Or are they in the wrong for ticketing me??

You don't have to pull over just to update your logs, but you do need to update them if you do stop.Cantstopwontstoptrucking Thanks this. -

Never touch your logbook in a scale line, your on camera, they saw you writing in the book in yline. means you were not current as far as they would be concerned, Im sure your attitude had alot to do with the rest of the stop.
