I graduated from school today and looked over my scores from my tests. I had an overall average of 93.5 (B) but got the following scores. Is this is a big deal once you get to your trucking company? Or should I not be worrying.
I got an A in : PTI, Coupling & Uncoupling, Straightline backing, Logs, Safety, Classroom
I got a C in: Shifting Maneuvering, Road Driving and Defensive driving
I got a D in Angle Backing
If anyone can share their experience it would be greatly appreciated.
Question about my Overall Transcript score from driving school, will this hurt me ?

If you got your CDL that is all that counts. No one here expects you to be able to do surgery on a fellow driver. You should know the front of the truck is where the engines is and the back of the truck is where you hook up the trailer. Also, on most trailers you have to open the doors before you back into the dock.
The rest is just experience. You will get the hang of it.Emulsified, SMPARKER74, pattyj and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thank you!!! The school was bit of a joke, I did learn quite a bit. But the bickering between instructors teaching styles and crappy trucks were not what I expected for $6500. But you are right I got the CDL and I will gain experience driving the same truck all the time and I look forward to learner from my trainer

Those aren't bad scores at all.Only thing that matters in this industry is you passed and got your CDL,CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emulsified and SMPARKER74 Thank this. -
CDL, check. School certificate, check. Heartbeat, check. The last one is optional but helps.

Dont worry about it... you learn some in school.. enough to get a CDL. ? Then hou will learn more when you are out with a trainer.. then when you go solo you will learn much more.. and you will continue to learn everyday..
SMPARKER74 Thanks this. -
Congratulations ... and always remember that you are unique ... just like everybody else
SMPARKER74 Thanks this. -
I highly doubt anyone will ever look at that ever. Either you have your CDL or you don't. In all honesty, you don't really learn to drive until you go out there with a trainer. The school just teaches you enough to pass the test.
SMPARKER74 and Emulsified Thank this.
