I was always told, the most important thing about pumping off is make sure you vent the tank. But, I guess there is always that exception to the rule. I just dont wanna ruin the holidays for myself LOL If something goes bad, I will post pics and have the knowledge for my next job

I did it myself few times, yep after arrival to customer first get at least 10-15 psi before start to pump with dome lid closed, MAKE SURE you supply enough air to keep stable air flow(mine was set up at 25psi) to tank.
After you empty turn pump off, and only then realse air from tank.BFL123 Thanks this. -
I've done this many times, Everythings the same as a regular pump off but your charging the tank with air instead of venting.
Are you using customers air? or off your truck. If the latter make sure your truck can run your pump and compressor at the same time. Keep an eye on the air gauge to make sure the air is keeping up.
Use any blow off fittings you have just for releasing any air pressure
that might get trapped in your hoses.
Close your internal valve when done first that'll help ridding pressure off your hoses.
I'd try to get 20-25psiOrange713, G13Tomcat, ChicagoJohn and 1 other person Thank this. -
Done it many times. You can run air to the trailer while pumping. You wouldn't need to add alot of air to keep it from impoding. Just act like you're doing and air unload and make sure you have your blow off valves. It will be a change in routine for you, so be mindful of that when you finish the offload and begin to disconnect you're lines

Thank you guys for all the help. I was told they use their air. They want it aired up top while unloading then when done, put air line on blow down fitting and blow air through there when done. You guys are a wealth of information and I guess we are always learning. I never used air before to pump off but I will be aware of what I need to do. Also, I'm sure the customer know the procedures. But, I don't want to rely on them. Cause we all know who they will point the finger at when it goes bad. Thanks again and I feel more comfortable now.
scythe08 Thanks this. -
I've unloaded latex/glue Numerous times except customers pump, my air. I've built air to 20-22 psi, then start their pump.
BFL123, scythe08, slim shady and 2 others Thank this. -
@BFL123 How'd it go?
-
It went perfect. No problems at all. I thought it would be nerve racking but went off without a hitch. The product was thick and needed all the help it could get. I was taught to always make sure you vent when pumping off a load, but found out different. Thanks for all the help. Next I guess I will be told that it's ok to air unload flammable. Any other questions, I know where to seek help. Happy Thanksgiving
