If its a tanker it should be ventilated to prevent that happening in the first place, otherwise when you filled it up the whole tank would of ballooned out and popped if there was no vent.

As far as hauling latex goes We have several huge accounts with most of the major paint manufacturers in our area and cleaning the tank is a pain, but as long as theres no latex dried and hanging from the tank its good to go. Its cane be seen as not being clean, Just so long as its not hanging its clean and they'll reload itChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
After unloading there will be at least a few hundred pounds left in the tank and if you do not keep pressure on it ,it will all dry up.
Any tank has a mawp.
Keep below that and nothing can happen to the tank.
Iso tanks have that marked.
Another group off products that run under pressure are hot products that have to remain under nitrogen blanket.ChicagoJohn Thanks this. -
I've pulled lots & lots of ISO tanks, just never with latex. I didn't realise you were talking ISO. We haul latex in domestics, but they get washed a couple hours after unloading, so there really isn't time for the product to harden. ISO tanks makes sense now. They're not always cleaned right away.
