Income tax, social security, govt medical tax, property tax, gasoline tax for your car, phone line taxes for your phone, water, garbage bills to the city/ county, sales tax on stuff like toilet paper, soap, clothes, restaurants. But the government runs a deficit. Plus beer, liquor tax. Oh taxes on Internet and cable tv.

That's crazy man. Old Dominion was paying me $22.50 to bump docks back in 2014. The $18/hr Peninsula was paying me back in 2012 in Portland, OR really seems like a joke nowadays.

I wouldn't sell the truck. Find a different type of trailer to pull with it maybe. Driving somebody else's junk is always a step backwards unless you're cool being a company clown at an LTL, UPS or food service terminal. Those guys do okay moneywise but it is what it is...it's a job. A means to an end where you count the years left until retirement.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
