is it a small or big go? Before I went back to driving , I tried to dispatch for a 25 truck fleet and this is the reason I left. Guys was ripping these guys off , what I never understood is , o/o knew and still stuck around . I would rather start up at another place than keep on lining that fellas pockets with your hard work ,not being paid what is due to you, and him getting the last laugh.

Instead of posting your opinion, please show us the law that states double brokering is illegal. Never have been able to find it. That link you posted has nothing to do with double brokering.

i do believe EVERY large company double brokers the load, first to their brokerage houses, and then to maybe two or three others before the driver gets the rate

point being, if you are offered a load for $10,000 or $1,000 or $100, it is up to you to take the load or not

another option is, if you are calling the broker, tell him you want to know the rate, if he says he cannot tell you, tell him, it is your truck, your trailer and if he cant tell you the rate, the freight will need another joker to take it

if drivers dont stand up, they will be stepped on

Every single rate confirmation sheet, I've ever seen clearly states that you are not allowed to pass this load to another broker, if you do, you will be prosecuted...That sounds to me like it's illegal.. I'll research it for ya when I have more time.. Either way, it's unethical and just ripping off the owners..
