Co-brokering is ok, Double brokering is a big no-no..

But anyway, that's not the point of my post. these people are thieves and need to be dealt with.. there's other posts on this site about the same company

i do believe EVERY large company double brokers the load, first to their brokerage houses, and then to maybe two or three others before the driver gets the rate
point being, if you are offered a load for $10,000 or $1,000 or $100, it is up to you to take the load or not
another option is, if you are calling the broker, tell him you want to know the rate, if he says he cannot tell you, tell him, it is your truck, your trailer and if he cant tell you the rate, the freight will need another joker to take it
if drivers dont stand up, they will be stepped on -
