I always bring my own. However I use my wash cloth to help dry me so the towle doesnt get all wet. A trick I learned when I took a motorcycle trip across the US with a trailer in tow back in 1989. Sometimes you'll need a shower and the place your at may not supply wash cloths and towles.
Rule #1, alway be able to fend for yourself on the road.

One handy tip I have found. Shower then eat when possible.
Here's why, time management.
1) throw cloths in washer
2) take a shower ( you may have to wait so adjust)
3) put cloths in dryer
4) go eat
on non-laundry days you can always throw your own washcloth or towel in dryer with dryer sheet, it won't be clean but you won't get that musty smell. Then go eat while it's drying.
Time management it's an important aspect of any job. Even if your time isn't completely your own as a traineegearjammer1978 Thanks this. -
you spend money on a dryer every time you use a towel? im not paying to dry a towel everyday other every other day even.
I have a couple closets in my truck and I just drape it on one of the bars and it tends to dry quickly or you can run a bungee and hang it behind your tractor for a bitgearjammer1978 Thanks this. -
I've had a couple that bad mildew smell and threw them in the corner at the J,
I can't say this enough, use something on your feet, do not walk on the floor without some sort of protection or hosing it all down with a coupe gallons of bleach. I had a driver who was off the road because he was barefoot in the shower and caught something (yes it was proven by the Arizona health department) that was really nasty.gearjammer1978 Thanks this. -
Carry a can of Lysal spray. Spray down the floor of the shower also.gearjammer1978 Thanks this. -
That's a good idea although I will have to wait to do that till I'm out of training.

Can of lysol is a great idea. Didn't think of that. Thanks

If you can contact your trainer before getting on truck you might find out what he does. Do what your trainer tells you. When you get on your own You will figure what works for you. Hope your trainer does not piss in plastic baggies and then throw them out the window as your driving

I will have two trainers as Armellini runs teams so there will be three of us in the truck while I'm training. Yes I will talk to my trainers and see how they go about stuff. And I can see it now when the company asks my preference for a team member after I get released me saying "I would prefer someone who doesn't pee in a bag and throw it out the window"!!! LMAO
