I don't have actual dollar figures for you, but I saw once how much Swift was paying vs. how much I was paying.
They took something like 2/3 - 3/4 of the cost.

 

If you need family coverage, I'm thinking swift will be pricey for their plan. Like China said, you can find a union ltl outfit and pay zero or close to it for health insurance.
