Mercedes made crew cab too. I saw it twice

But all these super long cabs got one big problem - it is really hard to tilt cabin

it is build specially for norwegian army , it is 730hp v8 engine fully automated gearbox 8x8 drive formula double chassis frame with strongest suspension it will be used for hauling tanks weights up to 120t or 265000lbs

regularly scania dont offer all wheel drive with strong engines this is exception

this is high crew cab ( high from chassis) it is very rare usually those cabs are build as low for firefighters army construction driving schools and similar applications

this is high to be able to adopt large v8 engine

also it is longer version of that cab with specially raised roof ( also rare)

until now i have never seen v8 civilian scania with front wheel drive

in fact i think only norwegian army have them ( maybe some members will remember r143e 6x6 450 with crew cab

.....also i think they even had t142 6x6 with crew cab i am not sure is it 6x4 or 6x6 anymore i will find picture when i get home.....

and truck have 325/95 r24 tires that is first time i saw them on anything ( they are build to exchange 12r24 have very good payload i think 5250kg per tyre and have 10% longer liftetime than 12r24

If you are asking about American cabovers I would have to guess the late model International flatfloor 9800's or the 110" Freightliner Argosy.

The earlier FLA/FLB 110 might been a shade longer BBC but less room inside, I might be mistaken but I also recall a KW 100E 112" but I have never been in one.

I saw 2 similar to the Scania setup under transport the other week, American made.

Until now I had never seen a 20K rated heavy lug tire. But this one had them on the front 4.

I know a lot of stick haulers that would have stripped it on the roadside :biggrin_2559:
