Been trying to determine supplemental insurance coverage. How much I need and who I should use.
I have two trucks registered to an LCC. Those two trucks are leased to another company who pays insurance. They have a $1,000,000 policy through Lloyds of London. But do I need to also get additional insurance on my LLC? Or am I covered 100% through the company I lease the trucks to?
Question for owner operators. Need some advice about insurance

The 1 mil Public Liability coverage that the Company provides, should be plenty, you’re covered by that while under a load, or empty. Only other insurance would be your Non-Trucking ( bobtail) Insurance, to cover personal use of Truck. Other optional insurance would be any Collision, theft, fire, for the Trucks.GoBucks43228 Thanks this.

Great Western, Northland, Progressive,in that order, have to Shop prices, making sure each policy offers the same coverage, Those three are only ones that come to mind.GoBucks43228 Thanks this.

You may be able to get that coverage through the company you are leased to. However I have always had that coverage separate from the company
