Question for some of you experienced guys

    My company also switched over to the on-line applications. However, we like seeing a new driver before he or she even goes through the qualifying stages to see if they are even qualified. Our office was right on common carrier pipeline property and you could walk right in. I'm sure you would stand a better chance at employment at those so called high secure companies if you have an inside contact. That's all I'm saying. It doesn't hurt to try so why not.

    I had an interview last week with a local gas hauling company. I drove to their terminal, and called the number on the fence... Asked to speak to the terminal manager, and 3 days later we had an interview... It never hurts to call and ask. Always better to talk to the guy in charge, rather than deal with someone in HR...
