    Billerica ,MA waiting to unload. holy #### balls it's cold up here. Never seen a frozen lake/river before. Can tick that off the bucket list lol.

    Had always wondered what ice fishing would be like... I think I'll stick to game fishing. Less chance of dying from cold....

    Go on to Alaska a drive on a frozen lake! I use to think 0 was cold. Didn't think you could get colder than nothing. Then I got stuck in Minnesota one weekend. The high was -20. It took a week to warm back up.

    This is suntan weather practically! I'm wearing my short sleeve shirt.

    But I used to be like OP. I grew up near the beaches of Southern California. I saw a scum of ice on a puddle ONCE, and decided it was too cold to go to school. Instead, I plopped a kiddy pool in front of the TV filled it with hot water and watched cartoons.

    I thought about going and trying the ice roads... then spoke to a old guy who went thru the ice and lived to tell the tale...
