I applied to Central Refrigerated Service on Monday and a recruiter told me I was good to start the next Monday (If I could get all the paperwork done). He said he had a few more questions and started asking the standard criminal history and speeding tickets. What seems to have disqualified me is the fact that I was terminated from my last job. He did not ask for an explanation and ended the call then. Is this common for all trucking companies if so what would you suggest I do to get past this. I really want to start driving but I need a school that has little money out of pocket at first. Thank you for your time.

There are plenty of other companies out there that offer training. In today's economy , companies can afford to be picky with new hires. Keep applying and good luck!
