Howdy, I live in Washington, just over 3 years, but I also have had a license in Oregon. Now I just recently picked up my cdl from the community college out here and I have been turning in applications. Most of them require me to put in any convictions I have had in the past 10 years. This is fine as I am only 27 and been driving for only 8.5 years....
I have only one conviction that I know if and as of three years ago it was not on my Oregon record, the company I previously worked for before moving to Washington required a clean record for employment.
The conviction was failure to follow a traffic control sign which I think was about 7 years ago. I remember being found guilty but I dont remember any dates/fines etc.
Is this something I should continue to throw on these applications?

Anything that could possibly be located on any previous drivers record should be included. If it falls within the date range they are requesting. If you are unsure of the dates or any information they are asking for, I would advise that you request of copy of your driving record from the state your license was issued by at the time.

Well, If it were me, I would disclose anything that fell in the time frame, and provide any information I knew and put Unknown for any details I couldn't remember. I personally would rather not be offered a job, than go through the hiring process, training, and possibly working for a period just to have the company find something at any point along the way and be terminated.

Thanks man. Ill keep going on with it. Its not a HUGE issue in my opinion. Ive prided myself in keeping a clean record.
