You can’t do state work up here with plywood in the bed......
And they put diesel in the body whenever the inspector ain’t looking......that will get you thrown off a state job too. -
I do it right before each time I get loaded. Could be twice a day could be 20. It doesn’t take a lot.
Tb0n3 Thanks this. -

The first spray of the day should be a heavier spray. Be careful not to over spray heavily because you will drip from the back of the truck.
Each time before you get loaded spray a light coating in the bed.
In the summertime a load of blacktop will keep all day. The winter obviously it won't keep as long. Around here all the paving guys that have heated beds use them.
If I was laying out driveways in Colder Weather I would be thankful for a heated bed. -
@ Cat sdp - thanks for the picture. Do you recall the cost for this and where you purchased it? The heat get pushed along the underside of the bed in the channels or something different needed?
-
I spray first thing in the morning, then don't touch until last load as long as you are going steady and can keep the heat in the floor.
Same with when I HAVE to use soap. I don't spray it between loads because I find it cools the floor off and actually makes it worse.Oxbow Thanks this. -

I’m a trailer driver... not sure on the specifics on the heat set up....,.
