If you live on a restricted route can you drive the truck (bobtail) to your home to park, clean, organize ect on home time?

If the sign says "no trucks".....well there is the answer...

Now if your talking about weight limits,...you'd have to know what the tractor weighs and figure it out..

Interesting, my guess would be that technically, a bob-tail isn't a truck. And furthermore, hate to think anyone would enforce it if it were illegal.

You can do anything you wish but you should also be prepaired for the potential consequences

If you're passing through a posted no truck route its a no no..but since your "stop" is on that route... probably going to be a judgement call by the individual officer. If you get a ticket you're probably going to lose is you try to fight it. I wouldnt be parking on the street either.

I asked because the signs here say "No trucks except local delivery". Well, I am delivering my tired butt home. :D

I drove locally delivering gasoline and I've taken my oversized tanker down streets that are marked no trucks. But I had to make sure it was the only way to get into the station or it was safer that way and I had to make a delievery. If you don't know for sure then you should call the people that do know just to make sure.

    psanderson and panhandlepat Thank this.
