I had a reckless 7 years ago in the u.s., but im wanting to truck from a company based in canada. I'm canadian and do have a clean driving record. ( Going to trucking school soon) On my record the dmv gave me 7 yrs of driving experience with everything else clean. Will I still have problems landing a job because of that? or will that not show up?
question regards a reckless driving ticket

It will probably show up. I hope for your sake you don't run into any crap over it. I am currently running into brick walls due to a 21 and 16 year old dui's. It has been very frustrating for me. I wish you much better luck than I'm having.

I am not sure about the canadian laws and their hiring practices.

The reckless was in the United Staes, then it might not be on your Canadian MVR(whatever they call it there) at all. If the insurers do both countries it may show up.

I asked the recruiters and they told me it should be ok. It's not liked I paid for this course either, its only 128 because of the government aid. I do start soon thats why I was wondering before I wasted my time on anything.

Here in Alberta they typically ask for a 3 year or 5 year drivers abstract. I gave my employer a 5 year abstract. It only showed what happened in the past 5 years of my driving. I've never had anything more than a few speeding tickets, but I imagine your reckless driving won't show up with a 5 year abstract.
