Question to become an Owner Operator & Book Loads for Canadian Driver

    Hi,

    I am still driving for a company in Canada as US driver.
    A few questions in mind, the company I drive is willing to take me as Owner operator.

    1. While working for them as full time , will I be able to pick my own loads? (Other than what they give me)
    2. What are legit methods to book loads? ( within Canada & for US )

    1) If you’re an O/O they can’t really force dispatch you as that gets into the contractor / employee area.

    2) As a US citizen you can’t haul loads within Canada. You can only load to come back to the States.
