Didn't really know where else to post this. Just got our truck and it has an APU made by ThermaKing. It has been working good for maintaining the temperature in the truck, but our power outlets are not working in the sleeper berth. We don't have an owners manual. Does anyone know anything about APUs? Is there a switch or something that we are overlooking? If it helps, we have an international prostar 2009.

just as likely they are not connected
do you know if you have an inverter
maybe under the bunk
that needs to be reset?
the trucks I have been in with an apu
had a inverter to plug 110 stuff into -
What make/model truck and are you talking about the 12v sockets or 120v sockets?

We had to find a reset switch on our APU once, it would run, keeping us ( at the time ) warm, but the inverter and plug-in's wouldn't work. It was in an odd spot, passenger side outside storage on a little black box... freightliner though.
ShelbyKay Thanks this. -
If you do a Google search you can download the service manual. That's how I got mine.

The inverter may be turned off or the CB may have tripped. You need to find the inverter and check it out. It could be anywhere, but usually close to the batteries , but inside the sleeper somewhere.
And even tho you have a Tripak, your company may not have specified an inverter be included in the package when installed. The are an add-on, not a factory spec item.fencitup Thanks this.
